Every year it's the same pleas for swimming WAY before it's time. The weather turns warm and the kids think they are hot enough and that the pool will be warm enough to swim. It's not.
"We just put our bathing suits on in case we fall in." Uh, huh.... yeah, right. So, after begging and pleading, I decided why not? They will find out all too quickly how cold it is and frankly it's pretty funny to see them elevate out of the water with wide eyes!
I'm sure none of this from last week is the reason that my little Lukey has bronchitis now. Nah. Better parenting moments have been had. Oh, well.

too, too cute. funny thing - aidan swears that what he's wearing above is a bathing suit. he denies that they are boxers!
you are right... cold water does not = sickness.
besides they are getting an opportunity to make choices and learn from them in a safe and controlled environment -- way to go Momma Unit!
