I don't actually know any of these children, but I do know the story they tell. This night was the highlight of this Christmas season for me, so far. Sitting quietly listening to a story being told on a dark, cold and rainy night. The singing voices of children. It was perfect.
And second from the left is a boy I do know. His eyes were searching for us, his face uncertain. Pa, rum, pum, pum.... me and my drum...
