Grace has become quite interested in the morning news. She sits at the bar in the kitchen and wants to see what's happening on the news. Of course, at 7 years old, most things are not "age appropriate" (she loves to throw these two words around - wonder where she got it??) But this morning, before the bus came, I let her watch and hoped she would remember this day. Her class watched parts of the inauguration at school, too.
It's so cool that she's finally old enough to understand the world around her a bit (I barely understand). I hope she remembers the day that Barack Obama became our president. History in the making.
