Earlier this year we were blessed with snow. The kids were thrilled, school was cancelled and we had a great idea! * Maple Snow Taffy * (I don't know it's official name.)
I got on the Internet and checked out the recipe. We carefully prepared our maple syrup - the real stuff, which was straight from New England.
Jerry and I fancy ourselves as knowing a thing or two about the east coast and dream of a camp in Maine someday. Surely we could take on this little task.
And it didn't work.
We ate maple flavored snow.
I guess we couldn't make it in Maine after all.
