This year confirmed what we thought all along. (Brief bragging on my boy...) Cole loves to learn; he excels when he's challenged. Kindergarten was a wonderful experience for Cole and for us. He had a fantastic teacher and the Montessori style of learning was certainly the right fit for everyone this year.
One of the most exciting milestones (I think) is when your child learns to read. Cole is so proud of his reading achievements. 'Go Dog, Go!' was a favorite around these parts. We'll be doing a lot of reading this summer!
Kindergarten promotion was last week and Cole is looking forward to first grade and homework next school year. (He may change his
toon on that one!)
Time sure flies by fast! We'll have a first grader and a fourth grader next year. And with any luck, a preschooler, too!! Luke always keeps us guessing, you know.
Summer is in full swing - playing with friends, swimming, "
synchro" and sleeping in. But I still have a little bit of catching up on my blog
before I move into summer. Hope you are enjoying your days!
