Holiday Perfection

All through the month of December I strive to achieve the perfect Christmas evening. (Several times, hopefully.) But once is good, too. Those moments when you are baking together (minus the sibling fighting and arguing) with a fire in the fireplace and Christmas tunes in the background. One of those "scrap booking moments."

There is some serious editing here from my memory of all the "get down from there's" & "Luke, stop it!" & "you two need to share" and, well, you get the picture...

Luke was actually eating a sugar cookie, an apple and a candy cane; simultaneously. Mmmmm.

And our evening ended, warming by the fire after much needed showers and baths. (You know I had to take about 5 pictures to get one good picture in front of the fire.)

Ahhhh... the perfect evening.

Cole told us (very excitedly) about your fire last night. You are making wonderful memories for your wee ones.

Beautiful photos! I, too, would love the picture perfect evening. Why is it that it's more like being in damage control??? Well, they will all grow so fast so it won't always be this way. Enjoy it while it lasts! I will try to!
