Jerry decided to break out his "toys" this week and finish a project that has been hanging over our heads for some time now. Here is a recap for anyone who doesn't know... When I was prego with Cole (4+ years ago) we decided to add on to our 1100 square foot house. In fact, we doubled the size of our home. We added hardwood floors to match the rest of the house, but we never made it to our room. We just lived with our old carpet that was pieced together and had a couple chunks taken out where our old closet was located. Under that carpet lies the most beautiful asbestos tiling you have ever seen. Just like the kind in your old elementary school! This was done in the first addition to the house in the 70's. Can you believe it was actually smaller than 1100 s.f. to begin with?
So, this week Jerry gets to break out some of his favorite big boy toys. The nailer and pancake compressor, etc. He seems to like the big projects... but not the finish work (hint, hint, Jerry.) xoxo! And since daddy is making a mess out of the house, why shouldn't the boys bring their outside toys inside and have a ball! Nobody will notice in all this mess.

There is someone awake at this hour! Hello friend way out there in Cali!!!
We have plans/dreams of doubling our house as well. Hopefully you'll get to see it come true!
testing 1-2-3
try again!
Good gracious. That's an antique hammer! I wonder where mine is? Or more likely what it's under in Chris's mess he calls a garage...I still remember when Dad gave us those. Mine had the curved nail puller and Jerry's was straight. Have fun with your project! We're on that path this month too. Oh fun!
