Summer was...
Swim parties... Grace really wanted a "swim party" at the beginning of summer. So, one day we just said yes and threw a party with only a few hours notice. Amazingly, all her friends that we called we able to attend and parents sent food and their children willingly. (hee, hee.) It was actually easy and fun and I like the spontaneity of it all.

summer was a lot of swimming, wasn't it? though not nearly enough dinners by the swimming pool. i'm so grateful that they are all finally swimming on their own :)
How about a summer song.... "In the summer time when all the trees and leaves are green and the red bird sings I'll be blue because you don't won't my love".
