birthday surprise

This week my girl turned eight. Goodness, time is going by fast!

At the beginning of summer, we received an email from "Mileyworld" announcing the concert schedule for our area. On a whim, we decided that the Hannah Montana concert in Oakland, near her birthday, would be a perfect gift.

There was a scavenger hunt for her big gift...

And we were right... it was a perfect gift for our Gracie.

"Is this real?" she asked again and again. Her bag is packed (even though we have another week) and now we anxiously await the big day. Hopefully she won't fall asleep like she did for her first concert. Maybe it's time for her first coffee. Kidding!
